The Kitchen |
|
| The Literary House kitchen is a great
place to hang out at the Lit House. It has every normal practicality of
any normal kitchen, complete with lost of supplies and necessities for
cooking, and better yet, it is all completely open for the community to
use. Anything and everything has been made here, from a simple bowl of
ramen noodles to an entire feast for a group of friends.
There are a few highlights to the kitchen. One of the most noticeable things is the chalk wall on the left hand side, that any student can write, draw, or scribble upon as they please! Its a great form of expression, and a fun way to share a joke with someone. Also adorning the wall of the kitchen is Kristen Kibbe's "I Did The Dishes" board. Decorated with pretty stickers, there is a prize for the best dishwasher - a tasty treat, supplied by the Kirsten herself. It seems a little childish, but it is exceedingly gratifying to put a new sticker up on the board! Of course, like every kitchen, this one has rules, which are listed below. It is best to get to know them before using the kitchen! |
